From a Bitcoin transaction to a museum exhibit
See how a voluntary Bitcoin contribution is verified and added to the Museum of Voluntary Satoshis.
1. Make a voluntary transfer
Send bitcoin to the public museum address shown on the contribution form. Wallet and network rules determine the practical minimum transaction amount and fee. Always verify the address in your wallet before sending.
2. Submit the transaction ID
After the transaction is confirmed, provide its public 64-character transaction ID, a display name or anonymous preference, and an optional message. Never submit a seed phrase, private key or wallet password.
3. Automatic verification
The server reads public Bitcoin blockchain data and checks that the transaction contains an output to the museum address. It records only the amount received by that address and the confirmation count.
4. Human moderation
A verified submission waits for moderation before publication. Moderation keeps abusive, misleading or unsafe material out of the exhibition. Publication does not imply endorsement of a participant or message.
